Mauro grew up in the hub of Italy's yacht building area of Viareggio, starting his career as a ships apprentice.  He has over 30 years of superyacht construction and technical experience, working across production, warranty and management for some of the leading names in the superyacht industry, including undertaking projects on 90m+ vessels. His breadth of expertise has been in demand by shipyards in Europe, Australia and America to manage diverse construction projects, from power boats for record breaking challenges, to racing yachts for the America's Cup and an extensive number of superyacht new build and refit projects. Mauro is based in Sydney, Australia and brings a global network of superyacht intelligence to SALT, providing our customers with direct access to the latest on and off market superyacht purchase opportunities.
